These funds were directed towards the implementation of 357 projects.
“In 2025, work was carried out on 114 infrastructure facilities. A total financing of 4 billion 348 million soms was allocated for 82 roads. In particular, 2.2 billion soms were allocated for the road Uzgen—Myrzake—Kara-Kulja, and for 13 water supply facilities and 19 irrigation projects — 317.9 million soms,” noted Kasymaliev.
To support local budgets in the Osh region, 1 billion 329.2 million soms were allocated, and overall in 2025, around 11 billion soms came to the region from the republican budget.
The budget for the Osh region for 2024 was approved at 4 billion 731 million soms, while in 2025, revenues amounted to actually 6 billion 447 million soms, which is 2.3 billion soms more compared to the previous year.
“The Osh region occupies a worthy place in the economic and social progress of the country; however, productivity is still insufficient. For example, the gross output of industrial products in Talas in 2025 amounted to 51 billion soms, while in the Osh region it was only 22.8 billion soms, which is 2.3 times less,” added the Chairman of the Cabinet.
At the end of the board meeting, Kasymaliev rated the work of the Uzgen and Chon-Alai districts as "good," while the Osh region was rated as "satisfactory" based on the results of last year's activities.
