Also participating in the discussion were employees of local ministry departments, the district akim, as well as Amankan Kenjebayev, the presidential representative in the Osh region, and heads of all rural districts, including the head of the district emergency situations department.
During the meeting, Minister Töröbaev listened to reports from relevant services on readiness for fieldwork, provision of mineral fertilizers, and the process of cleaning irrigation canals. The heads of rural districts shared information about the areas of irrigated land and sources of water intake.
Bakyt Töröbaev emphasized the need to intensify preparations for the spring work and urged farmers to consider the advantages of using certified seeds.
“It is important to inform farmers now about the benefits of certified seeds. To prevent problems during the irrigation season, it is necessary to complete the cleaning of the canals in advance,” he stressed.
