




On February 13, a working meeting of the ministers of energy and water management of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan took place in Tashkent. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the meeting, in addition to the Minister of Energy of Kyrgyzstan, Talaybek Ibraev, his colleagues from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan were present, as well as representatives of energy companies from these countries.
The negotiations emphasized that the multilateral cooperation initiated in recent years by the heads of state is rapidly and successfully developing in all areas, including the fuel and energy sector.
Moreover, the participants discussed issues related to the safe passage of the autumn-winter period, ensuring the stable operation of water-energy systems during the growing season, as well as deepening mutual cooperation. The parties agreed on the schedules for the operation modes of the networks.
