"Water-Energy Partnership": Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan Agree on Network Operation Schedules

- A meeting of the ministers of energy and water management of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan took place in Tashkent, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

The event was held on February 13.

Attending the meeting were J. Mirzamakhmudov, Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan, Sh. Khamraev, Minister of Water Management of Uzbekistan, T. Ibraev, Minister of Energy of Kyrgyzstan, E. Akkenzhenov, Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan, and D. Djuma, Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan. Leaders and specialists from energy companies in these countries were also present.

During the meeting, participants emphasized that the multilateral cooperation initiated in recent years by the presidents of these countries is successfully developing, especially in the fuel and energy sector.

The main topics of discussion included issues related to safely navigating the current autumn-winter season, ensuring the stable and uninterrupted operation of water-energy systems during the growing season, as well as deepening mutual cooperation.

The parties agreed on the schedules for the operation of networks.
