Ministers of energy from four countries agreed on network operation modes
Ministers of energy and water management from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan held a working meeting in Tashkent, according to information from the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

The delegations included Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Khамraev, Minister of Water Management of Uzbekistan, Taalaybek Ibraev, Minister of Energy of Kyrgyzstan, Erlan Akkenzhenov, Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan, and Daler Juma, Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan. Representatives of energy companies from these countries were also present at the meeting.


Participants of the meeting noted that the multilateral cooperation initiated by the heads of state is successfully developing, including in the field of energy and fuel.

During the discussions, emphasis was placed on the safe passage of the autumn-winter period and maintaining the stable operation of water-energy systems during the growing season, as well as the need for further deepening of cooperation.

As a result of the discussions, the parties approved the schedules for the operation of energy networks and expressed their intention to continue joint actions within the framework of the regional water-energy balance.
