At the meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, a report on achievements for the year 2025 was presented.
In 2025, the Tourism Development Support Fund managed to recover 56.1 million soms from accounts receivable and attracted over $4.5 million in grants from the World Bank to implement new tourism projects in the Osh region.
These figures were announced by the Fund's General Director Adilet Januzakov at the meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, which was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Torobaev.
Januzakov noted that after the change in leadership, a comprehensive assessment of the Fund's work was conducted, focusing on financial discipline and rational spending. This allowed for the complete settlement of debts on projects in Naryn and the village of Tosor, as well as a reduction in operating costs for information technology and communication.
Out of 18 planned Rest Point network facilities, 11 have already been opened, while the others are in the final stages of construction. Additionally, the subsidiary company GoBus is actively engaged in passenger transportation and is preparing to introduce an electronic ticketing system.
Special attention was paid to significant investment projects. In particular, for the international sports complex "Tamga-Tosor," the total volume of declared investments exceeds $100 million. The development of the Baytik Mountain Resort and Chatkal Mountain Resort projects is also ongoing.
