On February 11, the Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan, Mirbek Duyshiev, announced the subsidized lending program "FSH-14," which allows for financing the implementation of water-saving technologies. The amount of financing can reach up to 3 million soms; however, collateral is required to obtain such loans.

He specified that unsecured loans under this program are only possible for crop and livestock production, with a maximum amount of 500,000 soms.
“Loans for water-saving technologies can only be issued with collateral, as commercial state banks are not allowed to provide such funds without security,” Duyshiev noted.
In addition, the Deputy Minister added that farmers who face refusals from banks can seek assistance from the Ministry of Agriculture or from farmer service centers operating in the regions. These requests will be considered individually, with the possibility of participation in other state support programs.
