The volume of the preferential lending program "FSH-14" amounted to 2.4 billion soms, - Ministry of Agriculture
The goal of this program is to provide state support to farmers and dehkan during the spring fieldwork.
According to Duyyshev, the funding is allocated to three key areas: livestock — up to 70% of the budget, crop production — up to 20%, and the implementation of new water-saving technologies — up to 10%. In monetary terms, this means that 1 billion 713 million soms is allocated for livestock, 489.6 million soms for crop production, and 244.8 million soms for water-saving technologies.
The Deputy Minister noted that the volume of funding for the program this year has slightly decreased compared to the previous year, as six other state credit programs are being implemented simultaneously. These include funding for breeding livestock, seed-growing and nursery farms, as well as united producers. Additionally, a project for the development of beef cattle breeding will begin in the Chui region and Bishkek.
“We have reached an agreement with commercial banks to redistribute funds between various programs if necessary. This year, we will strive to provide the population with preferential loans as much as possible,” he added.
Duyyshev also emphasized that the "FSH-14" program focuses on the implementation of water-saving technologies.
“Considering climate change, we must help farmers adapt to the use of water-saving technologies,” he concluded.
