- In accordance with veterinary and sanitary requirements, more than 400 Kyrgyz enterprises have been included in the register of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) for the export of livestock products. This information was announced by Tilek Tabaldiev, head of the veterinary and sanitary safety department of the Veterinary Service under the Ministry of Agriculture, in an interview on the radio.

He noted that the registered companies are engaged in the production of dairy and meat products, honey, fish, and other livestock goods. The main export items are dairy products, honey, sausages, and fish. In 2024, there has been a noticeable increase in the export of chicken eggs, which exceeded 12 million pieces.

Tabaldiev emphasized that all enterprises included in the register comply with EAEU requirements, including obtaining veterinary certificates and laboratory control of products. There are 19 veterinary laboratories operating in the country, of which two are accredited to international standards.

According to the head of the department, control over the import and export of products is very strict: goods are not allowed on the market without confirmation of their safety and the appropriate certificates from the Customs Union. In case of violations, the products are subject to disposal or return.
