- More than 400 companies from Kyrgyzstan that produce livestock products are now included in the register of enterprises of the Eurasian Economic Union and comply with all veterinary and sanitary standards. This information was announced by Tilek Tabaldiev, head of the veterinary and sanitary safety department of the Veterinary Service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, in an interview on the radio.

According to Tabaldiev, the register mainly includes producers of milk, meat, honey, fish, and other livestock products. The main export items remain dairy products, honey, sausage products, and fish.

He also noted that last year there was an increase in the export of chicken eggs, which were shipped abroad in quantities exceeding 12 million pieces of local production.

Tabaldiev added that enterprises actively engaged in exports are generally well aware of the EAEU requirements. However, among individual entrepreneurs, there are cases where products are exported without the necessary accompanying documents. In such situations, there is a need to obtain veterinary certificates and laboratory conclusions at the border.

Additionally, he mentioned that when processing documents, technical errors or typos sometimes occur, which are quickly corrected, allowing for the resumption of exports.
