On February 4, a meeting was held at the Osh market, attended by Kanaybek Tumanbaev, the head of the president's office. Traders discussed important issues with him related to the transition to a new working location. In particular, they were interested in whether it would be necessary to purchase spots in the new market.
A new shopping center is planned to be built towards the "Manas" airport, where construction work for retail spaces has already begun.
Kanaybek Tumanbaev reported that trading spots in the new center will be provided free of charge, as this market is state-owned. All rental payments collected from entrepreneurs will go to the budget. Priority in allocating spots will be given to those who have been working at the old Osh market for a long time and have the appropriate patent.
