A cascade of small hydropower plants is planned to be built on the Tar River in the Osh region.
Signatures on the document were placed by Deputy Minister of Energy Altynbek Rysbekov and the General Director of the company, Tsu Chenzi.
According to the terms of the memorandum, the implementation of an investment project is planned, which includes the construction of a cascade of small hydropower plants with a total installed capacity of approximately 200 megawatts.
The expected investment volume for the project is about $300 million.
The government emphasizes that the implementation of this project will increase generating capacities, enhance the energy resilience of the country, and have a positive impact on the development of the energy sector in Kyrgyzstan.
