This was reported by Suyorkul Ashimjan uulu, the chief specialist of the forecasting, control, and monitoring department of the financial market, during the program "Elden Sobol" on the Kabar agency.
According to him, the capital size will be increased in stages. At the last stage, which concluded in 2022, the capital amounted to 1 million soms. Starting from January 1, 2025, the minimum charter capital of pawnshops is expected to rise to 3 million soms.
Ashimjan uulu noted that further capital increases are anticipated in the coming years. From July 1, 2026, it should be at least 7 million soms, and then it is planned to increase it to 14 million soms before reaching 20 million soms in 2027. Currently, work is underway on the corresponding project.
