Cargoes that do not meet the EAEU requirements will not enter Kyrgyzstan
An unscheduled inspection of the "Ak-Tilek" and "Kant" customs points took place during the winter holidays.
The Department of Chemicalization, Plant Protection, and Quarantine of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry reported that cargoes not meeting the EAEU standards will not be allowed into the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
During the New Year holidays, the head of the department, Maksat Kocherov, conducted an unscheduled inspection at the phytosanitary control points "Ak-Tilek" and the "Kant" customs warehouse, which are located at the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border.
During the inspection, emphasis was placed on compliance with and strengthening of phytosanitary standards, which require the return, destruction, or processing of agricultural products of plant origin imported into the country.
