From March 22 to 24, 2026, the chairman of the Mongolian People's Party (MNP) and speaker of the Great State Hural (GSH) Uchral Nyam-Osor made an official visit to China at the invitation of the Communist Party of China. During the visit, he met with Liu Haixin, the Head of the International Relations Department of the CPC Central Committee.
During the meeting, Uchral Nyam-Osor expressed satisfaction that his first visit as party chairman is taking place in China, with which Mongolia has a long history of friendship.
He noted that this trip plays a key role in strengthening the traditional ties between the two parties, which have already lasted for 105 years, as well as in developing cooperation and experience exchange between their structures.

Nyam-Osor also emphasized the importance of actively developing cooperation in areas such as renewable energy, infrastructure, environmental protection, carbon markets, and the digital economy over the next five years, considering the successful implementation of China's 15th Five-Year Plan for Socio-Economic Development. He confirmed the necessity of a mutually beneficial approach to these issues.
Liu Haixin noted that Nyam-Osor's visit is a significant step highlighting the importance of Mongolia's relations with neighboring countries and expressed gratitude for the attention given to these ties.
He also expressed readiness to actively develop the traditional friendly relations between the CPC and the MNP, adding new aspects to their cooperation, especially among youth, women, and trade unions, within the framework of the signed memorandum of cooperation.

Liu Haixin also emphasized the need for ongoing support from both sides to implement joint projects that will benefit the countries and their peoples. He noted that the 15th Five-Year Plan for Socio-Economic Development of China opens new horizons for joint cooperation.
The parties discussed issues of interaction between political parties on the international stage.
