The Qatari airline Qatar Airways has decided to relocate some of its aircraft to international airports. This has become necessary in light of the current circumstances in the region.

The number of aircraft that have been sent abroad has not been disclosed. A company representative confirmed that this is a temporary measure and the aircraft will be returned to service as the situation normalizes, as reported by Doha News.

On the morning of February 28, Israel and the United States began strikes on Iran, as announced by Donald Trump, who declared an intention to destroy the nuclear program of the Islamic Republic.

In response, Iran began striking targets in Israel and other countries in the Middle East where American military bases are located. Strikes were recorded in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Dubai (UAE), and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

As a result of the American-Israeli operation, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed, and shortly thereafter, his wife, Mansoureh Khojasteh, died from her injuries.

Donald Trump stated that the military operation in Iran would last approximately four weeks. Iran has proclaimed jihad against the United States and Israel, emphasizing that no negotiations will take place.

The situation in the Middle East is affecting the entire world, including Kyrgyzstan. Currently, thousands of tourists are stranded due to the conflict in the UAE. Information about the phone numbers of embassies and consulates for Kyrgyz citizens abroad is provided here.
