This tragedy also claimed the lives of his son and chief of security. Hossein Dehghan served as Iran's Minister of Defense from 2013 to 2017 and has headed the "Mostazafan" Foundation since 2023, which is the largest energy conglomerate in the country.
Since February 28 of this year, the United States and Israel have initiated military actions against Iran, with one of Washington's stated goals being the overthrow of the current regime.
