In connection with the new Constitution, the government of Kazakhstan, together with the parliament, will ensure the development and adoption of five new laws, while eight existing constitutional laws and more than 60 other laws will be amended, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov reported on Wednesday during a government meeting, as conveyed by "Vlast.kz".
“In an operational manner, the government and parliament must adapt a number of laws and subordinate acts to the new requirements of the Constitution. This primarily includes the adoption of five new laws and amendments to eight existing constitutional laws, as well as more than 60 other regulatory acts, including codes,” Bektenov noted.
In addition, a plan for popularizing the Constitution will be developed and approved, which includes the mass publication of the Basic Law, its placement on publicly accessible electronic platforms, as well as the preparation of methodological recommendations and educational materials for the educational sector.
