On March 17, 2026, Gankhuyag Hassuur, who holds the position of Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of India to Mongolia, Atul M. Gotsurva.
During the discussion, the participants noted the successful implementation of several significant projects, including the India-Mongolia Friendship School and the Information Technology and Outsourcing Center. Measures aimed at developing the oil refining industry and ensuring energy security, as well as projects to enhance human resource qualifications, were also discussed.
In addition, the delegates exchanged views on issues related to minimizing the risks of natural disasters, improving preparedness for them, and responding to such situations. The exchange of experience, joint training, and the development of the cooperative sector were also considered, which includes deepened cooperation and experience exchange programs to strengthen cooperative activities.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on cooperation in areas such as the implementation of advanced Indian technologies and the development of cooperatives in the fields of education, infrastructure, and agriculture in Mongolia.
