At the beginning of the event, Gankhuyag Khassuur noted that the number of Mongolians living in Australia has reached 22,000 people. He emphasized that Australia is an important partner for Mongolia in the Asia-Pacific region and the "third neighbor" of the country. The Deputy Prime Minister expressed a desire to further deepen cooperation in key sectors such as investment, education, and agriculture, which are essential for ensuring the well-being of citizens.
In addition, he expressed a desire to study and apply Australian experience in pasture management, sustainable development, and environmentally friendly agriculture and livestock farming, especially in the context of increasing risks of natural disasters related to climate change.

In conclusion of the meeting, Gankhuyag Khassuur emphasized the importance of work in the field of disaster prevention. He noted the need to study and implement best practices in disaster risk reduction, as well as to enhance cooperation to improve the effectiveness of preventive measures.
The Deputy Prime Minister also confirmed the intention to continue strengthening relations between Mongolia and Australia, developing cooperation in education, agriculture, livestock farming, regional development, and emergency response, striving for mutually beneficial cooperation in all these areas.
