This year also marks the 105th anniversary of the establishment of the modern Armed Forces of Mongolia.
According to legislation adopted in 2003, March 18 was established as Armed Forces Day. Later, in 2011, as a result of amendments to this law, the holiday received a new name — Armed Forces Day.
