Since the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, the republic has organized 61 flights to return its citizens, as reported by the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport.
The return of Kazakhstanis is being carried out by airlines Air Astana, SCAT, FlyDubai, and Air Arabia from cities such as Dubai, Sharjah, Jeddah, Medina, and Muscat to Almaty, Astana, Atyrau, Aktau, and Shymkent, the agency clarified.
The committee, together with other government agencies and air carriers, continues to work on the process of evacuating citizens of Kazakhstan from the Middle East.
On Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that to date, 9,926 Kazakhstanis have returned from the region.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, three citizens of Kazakhstan were evacuated from Iran through land border crossing points with Turkmenistan, and a total of 69 people have returned from Iran since the beginning of the evacuation. In addition, 68 Kazakhstanis were evacuated from Israel.
