The President of Kazakhstan expressed his position regarding the attack of Iranian UAVs on the airport in Nakhchivan
The position of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, on the incident involving Iranian drones attacking the airport in the Azerbaijani city of Nakhchivan was published by press secretary Aibek Smadiyarov.
He emphasized that the president firmly condemns this act directed against brotherly Azerbaijan, with which Kazakhstan maintains allied relations.
In addition, Tokayev expressed hope that Iran would conduct a thorough investigation of the incident. He also called for a peaceful resolution of the conflict through diplomatic channels to avoid further escalation of tensions in the region, Aibek Smadiyarov added.
