During the meeting, the minister emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral ties and cooperation between the parliaments of both countries. She expressed hope for further development of these relations. Referring to recent high-level visits, Batzetsgeg proposed deepening interaction, including the exchange of experiences in the areas of political education, women's leadership, social activism, as well as providing parliamentary support to improve the legal environment conducive to strengthening bilateral ties and concluding agreements in the field of social protection.
The event was also attended by members of the Sweden-Mongolia parliamentary group, representatives of the Permanent Committee on Foreign Policy, and political parties represented in the Riksdag. They discussed issues related to expanding bilateral relations and cooperation, as well as a number of international topics.
