This information has also been confirmed by several Iranian pro-government publications, such as Tasnim, IRNA, ISNA, and Mehr.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed the information about the death of the Supreme Leader of Iran.

In response to this tragedy, the Iranian government announced 40 days of mourning and 7 days of holidays across the country.

On the morning of February 28, Israel and the U.S. struck Tehran and other areas of Iran. Trump stated his intention to eliminate the nuclear program of the Islamic Republic.

According to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, 201 people died as a result of the attacks, and 747 were injured. Earlier, it was reported that 108 schoolgirls from a girls' school in the city of Minab were killed.

In response, Iran attacked Israeli military facilities and U.S. bases in the Middle East. A state of emergency has been declared in Israel, and Iran's retaliatory actions have affected other countries in the region.
