The Customs Service identified violations in the import of vehicles and collected over 15.5 million soms.

According to information from the customs service, the violations consisted of indicating the incorrect year of manufacture for vehicles, which allowed for a reduction in customs duties. Analysis of VIN codes and expert evaluations helped to identify these discrepancies.

Thus, on November 28, 2023, at the MTO "Naryn," when importing a DONGFENG brand truck, the year of manufacture was declared as 2019, while in reality, it was 2016. This resulted in an additional charge of 1,802,135 soms.

All materials related to the identified violations have been transferred to the Investigation Department of the State Customs Service for further legal assessment. As a result, the total amount of recovered funds amounted to 15,538,423 soms.
