As for the western aimags, this month the average air temperature will be approximately at the long-term average in eastern Zavkhan and northern Bayankhongor, while in other parts of the region, the temperature is expected to be above average (see Fig. 1).

In the central aimags, it is forecasted that the average air temperature will be below the long-term average in the eastern part of Selenge aimag and the northeastern area of Töv aimag, while in other areas, the temperature will remain at the average level (see Fig. 1). Precipitation is expected to be above average in Selenge aimag, eastern areas of Khövsgöl, Bulgan, and the northern part of Töv, while in other regions it will be at average levels.
In the eastern part of the country, including Dornod, northern Khentii, and Sukhbaatar, the average air temperature will also be below the long-term average (see Fig. 1). At the same time, precipitation in most areas of Khentii, Dornod, and northern Sukhbaatar is expected to be above average, while in other parts of the region it will be at average levels.
The Gobi aimags will also be characterized by temperatures and precipitation exceeding the long-term averages in the regions of Ömnögovi, Dundgovi, and southern Dornogovi; however, overall, the amount of precipitation in these areas will be below average. In other parts of the region, temperature and precipitation are expected to be at average levels (see Fig. 1).
