On February 14, by presidential decree, Minister of National Security Nazar Atagarayev was removed from office as he transitions to another job. The Ministry of National Security is now headed by Dovletgeldi Meredov.
Additionally, a Ministry of Automobile Roads was established in Turkmenistan based on the State Agency for the Management of Automobile Road Construction, which is headed by Hangeldi Kerimov.
Ashyrguly Begliyev also left his position as presidential advisor on oil and gas issues due to retirement.
Furthermore, Serdar Berdymukhammedov replaced the hyakims (heads of administrations) in the cities of Turkmenbashi, Turkmenabat, Mary, as well as in several districts.
