
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Batzetszeg Batmunkh, held a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio during her visit to the United States. This was reported by MiddleAsianNews.
During the conversation, issues related to deepening and expanding the strategic partnership between Mongolia and the United States within the framework of the "third neighbor" concept were discussed, as well as important international and regional topics.
Marco Rubio noted the successful implementation of the second agreement of the Millennium Challenge Corporation and expressed a desire for further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in areas such as mining, energy, telecommunications, and artificial intelligence, as well as achieving concrete results.

It is worth noting that Batzetszeg Batmunkh also participated in the International Ministerial Meeting on Critical Minerals, which took place on February 4, 2026, during her visit to the U.S. at the initiative of Marco Rubio.
