
On Thursday, Mongolia's Foreign Minister Battsereg Batmunkh announced her meeting with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau.
She also reported that during her working visit to the United States, she held a series of meetings and negotiations aimed at developing bilateral relations and cooperation.
As part of strengthening the strategic partnership "Third Neighbor," the participants discussed issues related to deepening political trust, increasing the frequency of high-level bilateral visits, as well as developing mutually beneficial cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, investment, mining, and energy, along with regional interaction issues.

Both sides also noted the successful implementation of the Second Agreement, jointly carried out by the Government of Mongolia and the U.S. Millennium Challenge Corporation, as an important symbol of Mongolian-American partnership. During the discussions, emphasis was placed on the need to expand the content and scope of future cooperation.
