The General Prosecutor's Office of Kazakhstan is considering the possibility of conducting an investigation against Nurlan Saburov under an article related to mercenarism. This was stated by Deputy Attorney General Galymzhan Koigeldiev, as reported by Tengri News.
Mercenarism includes actions such as recruiting, training, financing, or using individuals in armed conflicts, as well as actions aimed at overthrowing the state order and violating the territorial integrity of the country. For these crimes, a punishment of imprisonment for a term of 7 to 12 years is provided.
Since January 30, Nurlan Saburov has been banned from entering Russia for 50 years. According to TASS, this decision was made as a result of his criticism of the special military operation, as well as due to violations of migration and tax legislation. The ban was communicated to the comedian on February 6 at Vnukovo Airport after his return from Dubai.
In response to the ban, Nurlan Saburov expressed gratitude to the country that provided him with an opportunity for creative growth. He noted that "time will put everything in its place," and his lawyers will deal with resolving issues with the relevant authorities.
