
As a result of the collision that occurred on January 18 in the province of Córdoba, in southern Spain, a high-speed train heading to Madrid derailed. As a result of the incident, the rear part of the train flew onto the opposite tracks, where it collided with another train. The impact was so strong that the first two carriages derailed and fell from a four-meter slope. Currently, the reasons for this tragic incident remain unclear.
At least a dozen people sustained serious injuries, some of whom are in critical condition. According to reports, there were about 300 passengers on the train, and rescue operations to search for the missing are ongoing.
