Bloomberg: Elon Musk demanded compensation from OpenAI of up to $134 billion
OpenAI, in turn, responded to Musk's lawsuit, calling it baseless and accusing the entrepreneur of conducting a "campaign of harassment" against the company.
It is worth noting that in 2018, Musk left the board of directors of OpenAI due to disagreements over the direction of the company. In 2024, he initiated a lawsuit, claiming that the establishment of a commercial division and collaboration with Microsoft contradicts OpenAI's original non-profit mission.
In December 2023, OpenAI published documents that they believe confirm that Musk himself supported the company's shift to commercial operations but then abandoned the idea when he was unable to gain control over the organization.
