Trump has decided on measures to impact Iran

During a conversation with journalists at Andrews Air Force Base, Trump emphasized that he has a clear idea of what measures will be taken, but did not disclose details. "I know exactly what it will be. We need to make a decision. But obviously, I can't tell you," he noted. The president also expressed hope that Iranian authorities would show humanity towards the protesters. "They have big problems. And I hope they won't kill people... It seems to me that they are behaving very badly. But this is not confirmed," Trump added.

Over the weekend, U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff met with Prince Reza Pahlavi, the heir to the Shah's dynasty of Iran, to discuss the current situation with protests in the country. This was reported by Axios, citing sources among high-ranking American officials.

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, for his part, stated that the government is controlling the situation with the protests. He also pointed out that Tehran has significant evidence that the U.S. and Israel are involved in recent terrorist acts in Iran.
