
The holy month will last for 29 days. The Night of Qadr, according to the schedule, will be observed from March 16 to March 17. The celebration of Eid al-Fitr is planned for Friday, March 20.
The statement notes that "the beginning of the months of Hijri is determined based on data from international astronomical research centers. However, the dates of religious holidays may change by one day depending on the observation of the new moon."
Eid al-Adha, in turn, will begin on May 27 and will last until May 29 inclusive.
