
Zafarbek Kamilov, a member of the Kyrgyzstan boxing team, won a silver medal at the international tournament "Ahmet Cömert Bosphorus International Boxing Tournament," which took place in Istanbul, Turkey.
The athlete competed in the under 55 kg category and showed excellent results on his way to the final, defeating two boxers from the host country: in the first match, he won against Baran Kirkozler, and then triumphed over Nihat Adiyan.
In the final bout, Kamilov faced Semen Kumush, who is a bronze medalist of the Olympic Games. Unfortunately, during the competition, Zafarbek sustained a hand injury, which prevented him from finishing the fight.
Despite this, the athlete from Kyrgyzstan secured second place and was awarded the tournament's silver medal.
