Member of the Kyrgyzstan boxing team, Munarbek Seyitbek uulu, won first place at the international competition "Ahmet Cömert Bosphorus International Boxing Tournament" on April 5. This was reported by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of Kyrgyzstan.
The tournament took place in Istanbul, Turkey, from March 29 to April 5.
Munarbek competed in the weight category up to 60 kg and confidently progressed through all stages of the tournament.
In his first match, he defeated Uzbek boxer Tilav Supunov, and in the quarterfinals, he won against Australian Darcy O'Malley. In the semifinals, the athlete faced German boxer Denis Bril and also won with a score of 5:0, securing his place in the final.
In the decisive match, the Kyrgyzstani achieved a convincing victory over Ukrainian Ivan Zavadsky, also with a score of 5:0 by unanimous decision of the judges.
