From April 6 to 12, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, will host the Asian Championship in wrestling at the "Jashtyk Arena".
According to the press service of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, this significant event will gather outstanding athletes from various countries on the continent, who will compete in three disciplines: Greco-Roman, freestyle, and women's wrestling.
It is expected that about 350 wrestlers will participate in the competitions, competing for 30 sets of medals.
The championship will take place according to a pre-established schedule:
from April 6 to 8, the Greco-Roman wrestling competitions will be held;
from April 8 to 10, the women's wrestling tournaments will take place;
from April 10 to 12, athletes will compete in freestyle wrestling.
In the tournament, Kyrgyzstan will be represented by the strongest wrestlers in the country: 10 in Greco-Roman wrestling, 9 in women's wrestling, and 10 in freestyle wrestling.
