A young wrestler from the village of Ak-Tal, located in the Ak-Tala district of the Naryn region, won a bronze medal at an international competition.

As reported by the young athlete's coach Chyngyz Jamalov, on March 25 in Bishkek, at the Kaba Uulu Kozhomkul Sports Palace, an international freestyle wrestling tournament was held in memory of the USSR Master of Sports and Honored Coach of the Kyrgyz SSR Rajap Janayev. As a result of this competition, Bayel Rysbekov received a bronze award.

“This tournament has been held for 29 years and features young wrestlers from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries. I brought seven athletes to this competition. In the under-17 category, Bayel Rysbekov faced a wrestler from Uzbekistan in the match for third place and won. It is worth noting that he has previously won gold medals at various international tournaments,” said coach Jamalov.
