A young athlete from Bishkek won silver at an international boxing tournament in Thailand
On March 15, the World Boxing Futures Cup, an international boxing tournament for athletes under 19, concluded in Bangkok, where Kyrgyzstan's representative Arvaz Akhmadi, a student of the Sports School of Martial Arts, won a silver medal. The press service of the Bishkek city administration reported this event.

Competing in the under 70 kg weight category, Arvaz began his journey to the medal from the 1/16 finals and confidently progressed through four bouts, achieving victories over opponents from the Czech Republic, Hungary, England, and China, which allowed him to reach the finals.

In the decisive match, Akhmadi faced Kazakh boxer Bibarys Ashyrbay. The judges' decision after three rounds was in favor of his opponent.

Thus, Arvaz Akhmadi took second place in the tournament and became the silver medalist, representing Kyrgyzstan honorably on the international stage.
