Tournament in Thailand: Arvakh Akhmadi Started with a Victory. Results

At the international boxing tournament taking place in Bangkok, Kyrgyz athlete Arvaz Akhmadi won his first match.

The World Boxing Futures Cup competitions for boxers under 19 years old are being held in the capital of Thailand.

Akhmadi is competing in the under 70 kg category, which has 40 participants registered.

In his debut match in the 1/16 finals, he faced a boxer from the Czech Republic. After three rounds of three minutes each, the judges unanimously awarded victory to the Kyrgyzstani.

Thus, Arvaz advanced to the 1/8 finals and will fight against a Hungarian opponent on March 12.

At the same time, Nursultan Duyshonaliev (under 55 kg) lost in his first fight to a boxer from Azerbaijan.

In the evening session, Eldiyar Tenisbekov (under 65 kg) will compete for a place in the quarterfinals.
