Iskandar Rasulzhanov won bronze at the Youth World Cup in Montenegro

Athlete from Kyrgyzstan Iskandar Rasuljanov took third place at the Youth World Boxing Cup held in Montenegro.

The competition, titled "Pearl of the Adriatic," started on March 4 in Budva and gathered participants aged up to 19 years.

Iskandar competed in the weight category up to 80 kg, which included 13 boxers.

He began his journey in the tournament from the quarterfinals, achieving a convincing victory with a score of 5:0 against Nursultan Nazarbayev from Kazakhstan.

However, on March 9, in the semifinal bout, Rasuljanov lost to a Serbian boxer.

Thus, as a result of the tournament, the Kyrgyz athlete took third place and was awarded a bronze medal.

Also at the tournament, in the category up to 60 kg, Umar Oruzbai was able to reach the finals, while Kutmanbiy Muratov won bronze in the weight category up to 70 kg.
