Athlete from Kyrgyzstan Umar Orusbaev has reached the final of the Youth World Boxing Cup, which is taking place in Montenegro.

The tournament, titled "Pearl of the Adriatic," began on March 4 in Budva and features 10 sets of medals for boxers aged 19 and under.

Orusbaev competes in the weight category up to 60 kg, which includes 16 boxers.

Starting his journey from the Round of 16, the Kyrgyzstani secured three consecutive victories over opponents from Estonia, Ukraine, and Sweden, allowing him to advance to the final.

The final match will take place on March 11, where Orusbaev will face a boxer from Kazakhstan.

The bouts will begin at 21:00 Bishkek time.
