Aydemi Asangazieva won gold at the tournament in Sweden

Aydemi Asangazieva, representing Kyrgyzstan, became the champion of the international wrestling tournament held in Sweden.

The Klippen Lady Open competition took place from February 13 to 15 in the city of Klippan.

The athlete competed in the category up to 53 kg among participants aged up to 17 years, where she faced competition from 10 fighters.

In the group stage, the Kyrgyzstani confidently won three matches against Swedish opponents, demonstrating an excellent result of 24:3.

In the semifinals, Asangazieva left no chance for Lauren McGregor from Canada, finishing the match with a score of 8:0, and in the final, she defeated Emmy Nerrel from Sweden with a result of 6:0.

In the category up to 49 kg, Asel Toktosun kyzy also won a gold medal, finishing first in her weight class.

Ayana Asamalikova, competing in the weight category up to 65 kg, unfortunately, could not advance beyond the opening match and ended up without medals.
