From February 13 to 15, Sweden will host the international women's wrestling tournament Klippen Lady Open, where three wrestlers from Kyrgyzstan will compete. This competition will gather the strongest young athletes from around the world.
The Kyrgyzstan team will feature Asel Toktosun kyzy in the under 49 kg category, Aydemi Asangazieva in the under 53 kg weight class, and Ayana Asamalikova, who will compete in the under 68 kg category. The team is accompanied by the senior coach of the U-17 national team, Nursultan Askarbekov.
Klippen Lady Open is considered an important platform for testing reserves and preparing for future continental competitions. For Kyrgyz wrestlers, this tournament will not only provide an opportunity to win medals but also serve as valuable experience in competing against representatives of European and world schools.
