The Uzbek club "Andijan" may face sanctions from FIFA due to a dispute with the former coach of the team.
According to sources, Russian coach Alexander Khomyakov did not receive the full amount of his salary and compensation for the termination of his contract after his departure. Moreover, the club signed a contract with a new coach without legally concluding the agreement with the previous one.
Khomyakov appealed to FIFA, which demanded that "Andijan" settle the debt. If the club ignores this demand, it may face a ban on registering new players.
Although the threat of sanctions looms on the horizon, the team still confidently holds first place in the Uzbekistan championship and is considered one of the main contenders for the title.
