Dilnaz began her performances in the 1/8 finals, where she achieved victory over her compatriot Akylai Chynybayeva. Then, in the quarterfinals, she managed to defeat the Russian athlete Anastasia Sidelnikova. In the semifinals, she faced another Russian athlete – Ekaterina Oleinikova, whom she also managed to overcome.
However, in the final match, Dilnaz lost to her opponent from North Korea, Kim Ok Joo.
