Dilnaz Sazanova began her performances in the weight category up to 62 kilograms, starting from the 1/8 finals, where she won against another Kyrgyzstani, Akylai Chynybayeva. Then, in the quarterfinals, she defeated the Russian Anastasia Sidelnikova.
Now she is set to face Yekaterina Oleinikova from Russia in the battle for a spot in the finals.
In the same weight category, two more Kyrgyzstani athletes competed — Bayan Motukeva and Manzura Jusuyeva, but unfortunately, they could not overcome the initial matches and were eliminated from the tournament.
Kairkul Sharshaeva competes in the weight category up to 68 kilograms, where she demonstrated confident wrestling, defeating opponents from Russia and Mongolia, which allowed her to reach the finals.
