
Igor Kudrenko has become the head coach of the youth national team of Kyrgyzstan (U-17). This was reported by the Kyrgyz Football Union.
According to the federation, Kudrenko has high qualifications and significant experience in Kyrgyz football.
He holds an AFC "A" license and a diploma issued by FIFA in the field of coaching education. For many years, he worked in the coaching staff of the Kyrgyz national team alongside Alexander Krestinin, making important contributions to the team's achievements. In 2017, under his leadership, the Kyrgyz national team (U-23) won a trophy at a tournament in Indonesia. Kudrenko also held positions as technical and sports director in the KFS, which confirms his deep understanding of the football system,” the statement notes.
At the club level, Kudrenko has coached teams such as "Dordoi," "Bunyodkor" from Tashkent, "Lokomotiv" (Tashkent), and "Bars" (Karakol).
Now the new coach will focus on preparing the team for the qualifying tournament for the Asian Cup, which will take place from August 29 to September 6.
