The Youth World Ice Hockey Championship for players under 20 years old (IIHF Division III-B) will take place in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, from January 18 to 24, 2026. This information was announced by the Ice Hockey Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The tournament games will be held at the multifunctional arena "Bishkek Arena." Teams from youth national teams of Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Luxembourg, South Africa, Iran, and Hong Kong (China) will participate in the competition.
Throughout the week, teams will compete in a series of matches, after which the winner and prize winners of the tournament will be determined. The U20 format is characterized by high speed and spectacular play, allowing young hockey players to showcase their skills, character, and excellent preparation.
